Beautiful set of two Black Forest-style armchairs, manufactured by Horrix in the 19th century. These impressive chairs showcase the exceptional craftsmanship for which Horrix 's-Gravenhage is known and are mentioned in various publications on Horrix furniture.
The chairs feature magnificent, hand-carved wooden frames with richly detailed woodcarving, typical of the Black Forest style. Their elegant proportions and strong sculptural appearance make them both decorative and comfortable.
