A striking set of six sculptural dining chairs produced by Allmilmö in Germany during the 1980s. The chairs feature an exceptionally expressive construction in beechwood and laminated plywood, combining strong architectural lines with elegant continuous curves. Particularly distinctive are the sweeping rounded armrests and the curved arched bases, which give the chairs an almost graphic, rhythmic appearance when placed together around a dining table. The seats feature a beautiful geometric construction of slender wooden elements, adding another layer of craftsmanship and visual interest. Despite their sculptural character, the design retains a light and refined appearance. The warm tone of the beechwood beautifully emphasizes the continuous lines of the design and gives the set a strong decorative presence. Viewed individually, each chair works almost as a small piece of functional sculpture; as a complete set of six, they create an especially impressive and cohesive composition.
