A stunning set of folding and stackable Revolt chairs by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel. This extremely rare set was designed in 1953 and was only in production for four years. The design received the Signe d’Or award in 1958, a prestigious design prize from the Benelux. The folding chairs can easily be linked together in a row and are stackable for easy storage. These chairs have a beautiful patina and are 46 cm wide, 45 cm deep, and 77.5 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm.
Condition: Technically, the chairs are in perfect condition, with a particularly rich patina visible on the white painted metal frame. In our opinion, this gives the chairs character. In the case of these rare pieces, the more original, the better.
