Set of single-arm wall lamps by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden, 1960s
A rare set of two single-arm wall lamps designed by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus in the 1960s. Each lamp features a sculptural, black wooden arm paired with an opaline glass globe with a curved wooden dome that casts a warm, diffused light — an elegant example of Scandinavian modernism.
The set comes with two different arm lengths, adding a subtle visual rhythm when displayed together. Both lamps are in very good vintage condition, with the wood and glass beautifully preserved. There are minor cracks in the original plastic brackets, not visible when mounted and not affecting function.
Professionally rewired with a discreet on/off switch, maintaining everyday usability while respecting the integrity of the design.
Uno & Östen Kristiansson — renowned for their honest materiality and understated forms — created some of the most refined lighting pieces of the Swedish mid-century era, and this set is a wonderful example of their timeless aesthetic.
