Beautiful set of 2 red fat lava vases made by Scheurich, the setting is called "Jura", West Germany pottery from the 60-70s, at the bottom numbered 282-20 & 282-26.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
Both vases are in very good vintage condition, the smaller one has a hard to see minute chip at the bottom of the base, check the photos for more details!
