This set of two original drafting stools was designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend De Cirkel. It is an iconic industrial design that perfectly embodies the functionality and aesthetics of post-war Dutch design.
The stools are crafted with a sturdy grey metal frame and a round wooden seat. They feature a height-adjustable chrome foot ring with a swivel mechanism. A special detail is the presence of the rare, original marked Ahrend De Cirkel rotary knobs. The seat height is adjustable from 58 to 78 centimeters, and the seat has a diameter of 33 centimeters.
The set is in good, sturdy vintage condition with an authentic character. The swivel mechanism functions properly, and the stools retain their original industrial appearance.
Equipped on the bottom with the original metal inventory plate from the T.H. Eindhoven (with a unique serial number). A beautiful piece of Dutch design history!
