A special set of five Italian dining chairs from the 1990s, featuring a light-colored wooden frame, cognac brown leather, and sculptural metal details. The design is characterized by slender, subtly curved wooden legs that widen towards the floor, giving the chairs an unusual and elegant appearance. Beneath the seat, specially shaped metal brackets form an expressive structural element and contrast with the warm colors of the wood and leather. Both the seat and backrest are upholstered in beautifully aged cognac brown leather. The leather is not merely applied to the surfaces but carefully shaped around the structure, folding over the corners of the seat and extending to the ends of the backrest. Visible stitching highlights the craftsmanship of the upholstery. The leather has developed a rich, natural patina with color variations, creases, and signs of wear, giving the set a unique character. An intriguing example of Italian furniture design from the late 20th century, combining traditional leatherwork with a refined and almost technical construction. DxHxL: 48x77x49 cm Seat height: 45 cm Good vintage condition with visible patina, scratches, stains, and wear to the original leather, consistent with age and use. Send feedback
