Studio Haag presents: a rare set of brutalist wall lamps by Marcello Fantoni – perfect condition
A striking duo of 1970s Italian design, these wall lamps are crafted from multiple metal cylinders in a bold black-brown finish, accented with perforated copper rods. Warm amber lenses diffuse a soft, inviting light, creating sculptural centerpieces for any interior.
This set is in excellent, original condition. One lamp has been rewired with an on/off switch for immediate use, while the other is ready for direct wall connection but can be rewired in the same manner.
This set embodies Marcello Fantoni’s signature blend of art and function. Fantoni, founder of the International School of Ceramic Art in Florence (1970), is celebrated worldwide, with works held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, and Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
The design’s intricate interplay of torch-cut steel and Murano glass produces a captivating visual effect. Their bold, architectural presence adds an artistic flair while their warm glow enhances any space—perfect for collectors of vintage, brutalist, and statement lighting.
