Set of 6 Vintage Brutalist Dining Chairs 1970s Seltz
This set of 6 vintage dining chairs from the 1970s was made by Ebénisterie Seltz. The chairs are crafted from solid oak and are characterized by a distinctive, sculptural design.
Ebénisterie Seltz was a small family-run studio in Alsace, known for its use of high-quality woods and a traditional, functional design style. In the 1970s, the studio collaborated with Pierre Chapo, among others.
The unique three-legged base creates a powerful interplay of lines. The front leg flows seamlessly into the backrest, creating an elegant whole. The slightly recessed, rounded seat offers extra comfort. The backrest features a subtle carved detail that also serves as a handle.
The chairs are in good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age, including stains and scratches.
