A set of six antique, hand-blown fine crystal champagne coupes, each containing a few discreet bubbles, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century (1890-1910). In the so-called Marie Antoinette shape, they rest on an elegant, ornately decorated stem. The finely wheel-engraved decoration features a frieze of stylized stars framed by geometric motifs. In the style of Baccarat or Choisy-le-Roi crystalworks.
Height 11.5 cm, diameter at the rim 9.5 cm. Good overall condition with signs of use: two cups in excellent condition, one with a slight manufacturing defect on the rim, one with a small 1 mm chip on the rim, a second with a small 2 mm chip, another with a small 3 mm chip on the rim, and finally, a third with a 2 mm round chip in the thickness of the outer rim and a 1 mm chip on the base of the foot. These defects are relatively discreet. There is also patina under the feet and some minor manufacturing flaws. Approximately 120-150 grams each.
