Product description
Beautiful, authentic set of 5 vintage ceramic bowls from the French pottery town of Vallauris (1950s/60s). Hand-painted with the iconic 'Chardon' (thistle) motif in atmospheric purple and green tones on a grey-white background. The bowls were designed by the renowned ceramist Étienne Daniel. As is customary with this series, they are signed on the underside with the text "Décor Main" and his permanent studio monogram "FD". All 5 pieces are in absolutely perfect condition, as if they were new (no chips, cracks, or glaze wear).
