For sale is a beautiful, rare set of five original Frankfurt chairs from the traditional brand Stoelcker. This coordinated set (manufactured between the 1930s and 1950s) impresses with its timeless design, featuring three characteristically curved backrests and an ergonomically shaped seat. Perfect as distinctive seating for any dining table. A special feature: Four of the five chairs bear the original, well-preserved "Bombenstabil" stamp on their underside – Otto Stoelcker's protected trademark for his extremely durable solid wood construction. One chair is missing the stamp, or it appears to have been painted over over the decades; however, it is identical in construction, color-matched, and originally part of the set. All the chairs live up to their name to this day: They are structurally sound, do not wobble, and are in unrestored original condition with a wonderful, authentic vintage patina. Dimensions: * Overall height: 83 cm * Seat height: 45 cm * Width (seat): 41 cm * Overall depth: 45 cm Condition: Good vintage condition commensurate with age, with slight signs of wear on the wood and lacquer, which emphasize the historical character. The highlight: On 4 of the 5 chairs, the underside features the original, well-preserved brand stamp "Bombenstabil" (bombproof) – the protected trademark of Otto Stoelcker, famous for his extremely durable solid wood joinery. On one chair, the stamp is missing or was probably painted over the decades, but it is identical in construction, color, and part of the original set.
