Nice set of 5 sketches by Poperings artist Roger Vansevenant (1922-2013), framed in nice wooden frames, signed in pencil by the artist.
Roger Vansevenant was a Belgian artist, graphic artist and photographer born in Poperinge in 1922, in addition to his artistic career he built a professional career as a graphic designer and co-founded a family printing company. He was a renowned Belgian artist, his work was regularly awarded and he received the titles of Knight in the Order of Leopold and Knight in the Order of the Crown. He died in 2013 in Ypres.
Work by Roger Vansevenant can be found in the collections of several national and international museums and institutions. His oeuvre was regularly awarded and he received the titles of Knight in the Order of Leopold and Knight in the Order of the Crown.
