The four folding chairs shown here combine postmodern design with functional sophistication.
A characteristic feature is the transparent seat and backrest made of clear or blue-tinted acrylic (Plexiglas), whose curved shape provides ergonomic support and creates a visually light appearance.
The supporting structure consists of chrome-plated steel tubing connected by precisely manufactured joints and cross braces.
The striking joints, made of aluminum or die-cast zinc, enable the folding mechanism and simultaneously underscore the modern, almost industrial-technical look. Despite its delicate appearance, the construction appears stable and ingenious.
Condition: The four chairs are in good overall condition. The chrome-plated metal frames show only minor signs of age-related wear, without rust or significant scratches. The transparent acrylic surfaces are clean, with minor signs of wear in the form of fine scratches, which are typical for this material. The blue chair has a few dark inclusions in the material, presumably from the manufacturing process. The folding mechanism works perfectly on all chairs. The chairs appear well-maintained and are sturdy.
