Product description
A set of four iconic Dr Glob chairs, designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell in 1988 and made in Italy. One of Starck's early designs for Kartell, instantly recognisable by the contrast between its solid plastic seat and slim tubular steel back.
The seat is moulded in aqua green polypropylene with two square front legs integrated into it, set against a satin grey steel backrest and rear legs. The colour is one of the nicer, less common versions, and a complete matching set of four is increasingly hard to find. Stackable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Each chair is marked underneath "Dr Glob by Starck for Kartell, Made in Italy", with the original Kartell date stamp — so these are authentic Kartell production, not reissues or copies.
In good vintage condition with light wear and scuffs consistent with age and use. See all photos.
