This original Kai Kristiansen Z Chair (Model 42) is an iconic vintage design chair from the late 1960s, produced by Slagelse Møbelværk. The characteristic Z-shape and the floating backrest not only create a timeless Scandinavian design but also ensure surprisingly high seating comfort because the backrest moves subtly along with the body.
This set of 4 Kai Kristiansen chairs is crafted from beautiful solid rosewood with an expressive grain. The wood is in very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of use. The seats have been professionally reupholstered with a high-quality wool blend, a durable upholstery that gives the chair a timeless character.
