Some designs never really age — they just keep showing up in new stories.
This set of four cantilever chairs from the 1970s draws inspiration from the iconic Bauhaus design by Mies van der Rohe. Originally created to challenge the idea that a chair needs four legs… and somehow still winning that argument so many years later.
The chrome frames give that light, floating feel, while the black seat and backrest in black saddle leather are held together with a lace-up detail — a subtle nod to craftsmanship with a slightly unexpected twist.
Condition
Good vintage condition with visible signs of use: signs of wear on the leather and some marks on the chrome. Chairs are structurally in perfect condition, not bent down.
Dimensions (HxWxD): 78cm x 47cm x 66cm - Seating height: 44cm
Price is for the set of 4.
Perfect if you love design with a story — and chairs that look like they’re defying gravity (but won’t let you down).
