Iconic Marbella stools from Spain, 1970s. Instantly recognizable by the three distinctive "little horns" — one of which serves as a mini-backrest. Surprisingly comfortable for such a no-nonsense item.
Solid beech seat with a round cutout, three sturdy tripod legs, and a metal foot ring. Beautiful warm honey patina, a few signs of use here and there — exactly what you want from a fifty-year-old stool. Often attributed to Sergio Rodrigues, a typical Spanish Brutalist (usually Confonorm).
