Lovely set of 3 rare Fat Lava vases, West German earthenware from circa the 1960s-70s, each marked and numbered on the bottom. This type of Fat Lava vase is highly sought after by collectors of vintage or West German ceramics. The two largest vases were made by Bay, the smallest is a Lora vase by Scheurich. West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the largest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay. This lovely set is in very good vintage condition, no cracks, breaks, or chips; check the photos for more details! Dimensions from left to right: 30cm high, 16cm diameter / 13x12x18.5cm / 25cm high, 12cm diameter. Weight: 2.713kg combined.
