Set of 2 Soviet Tea Glass Holders – Russian Filigree (скань), USSR.
Beautiful set of two identical tea glass holders (подстаканники) made of melchior (copper-nickel alloy), hand-decorated using the traditional Russian скань (soldered twisted filigree) technique.
Openwork floral and vegetal motifs within diamond shapes, typical of the Kazakovo Artistic Factory (КХИ), the most renowned Soviet manufacturer of this art.
