Beautiful and rare set of two vintage Space Age floor lamps from the 1970s, also known as 'Organ Pipe' or 'Orgelpfeifen' lamps. These architectural eye-catchers are crafted in high-quality polished chrome and consist of clusters of chrome-plated tubes of varying heights, resting on a heavy, stable base. This specific model originates from Germany and is attributed to Aro Leuchte, designed in the iconic style of Goffredo Riggiani and Gaetano Sciolari. Both lamps are equipped with their original, gold-colored VLM cord switches bearing the German VDE safety mark. The lamps are in good condition, have been inspected and polished. They show only minimal, normal signs of age consistent with their age. (No disturbing rust or deep scratches) The sculptural design creates a beautiful diffused light effect.
