Rare pair of solid pine coffee tables by Aksel Kjersgaard, Denmark, dating from the 1960s–1970s. Crafted from heavy solid pine, the tables feature softly rounded edges and a warm, organic character that reflects the timeless simplicity of Danish design.
The distinctive L-shaped design allows the tables to be arranged in multiple configurations, making them equally suitable as coffee tables, side tables or end tables. Both pieces are stamped Aksel Kjersgaard, confirming their authenticity.
The tables are presented in remarkably good vintage condition with a beautifully developed patina. Their exceptional craftsmanship, versatile design and solid construction make them both highly functional and increasingly collectible examples of Danish Mid-Century furniture.
