Set of two original Inca Safari lounge chairs, designed by Arne Norell in the 1960s and produced by Norell Möbel AB in Sweden. This model is a well-known example of Scandinavian design featuring a characteristic safari construction of wood and tension straps.
The chairs have a wooden frame with fabric upholstery. The fabric shows some stains and slight discoloration. The wooden frames are in good condition, with some discoloration here and there due to sunlight. The leather backrests were replaced in the past. Some leather straps under the seat are slightly worn.
Dimensions: approximately 88cm wide, 90cm deep, and 89cm high.
The Inca chair is comfortable and features a clever, detachable construction. A beautiful example of Scandinavian vintage design.
