A set of two armchairs designed by Rob Parry for Gelderland. The model is called Lotus and is made of a steel base, solid teak frame, rubber straps, and upholstered foam cushions. The original cushions and foam had deteriorated over time and have been replaced with new foam and new upholstery from Maharam. The green fabric is called Beck with colour code 028 Malachite and is 100% wool. These two Dutch minimalist design icons are now comfortable again and ready for the next 50 years of enjoyment. The armchairs are 84 cm high, 69 cm wide, and 75 cm deep. The metal legs show some patina, but otherwise, this set is in very good vintage condition. The cushions have been reupholstered.
