Rare vintage design armchairs, model 8000, designed by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro. Characterized by wide armrests, a curved plywood seat and backrest, and an elegant metal frame. An iconic Dutch design from the 1960s.
The armchairs are in neat vintage condition with normal signs of use appropriate for their age. Structurally sound (1 weld is loose) and immediately usable.
A special collector's item for enthusiasts of Dutch vintage design, Pilastro, Gispen, Pastoe, and Mid-Century Modern.
The chairs were originally finished in a light grey/green color. The original wooden underside is still visible.
