A beautiful and impressive set of two original Palwa wall lamps from the 1970s, crafted in gilded brass and heavy clear crystal glass. This is the large model, with a width of no less than 33 cm. The lamps are constructed from multiple rows of thick, square crystal elements with a characteristic geometric shape. Due to the varying angles and thicknesses of the glass, the light is beautifully refracted, creating a warm sparkle in combination with the gold-colored frame. The brass frame is also finely crafted, featuring partly smooth and partly textured surfaces. The combination of gold and heavy crystal is characteristic of Palwa's luxurious lighting from this period. The lamps are particularly decorative when switched off, but naturally come fully to life when lit. Due to their size, they are highly suitable as statement lighting in, for example, a hallway, living room, or bedroom. This is a matching set of two, which makes this large version particularly attractive.
