Product description
This set of two Kilta lounge chairs was designed by Olli Mannermaa and produced by Martela in Finland. The Kilta is a well-known model within Scandinavian modernism and is known for its organic shell shape, comfortable seating, and timeless appearance.
The chairs are upholstered in original imitation leather (skai) combined with a chrome-plated tubular frame. This version was frequently used by Martela, both for private and professional use, due to its durability and ease of maintenance.
The upholstery shows light, normal signs of wear consistent with age, without excessive wear. The frame is stable and the chairs are comfortable. Ideal for a living room, reading nook, office, practice, hospitality venue, or a stylish vintage interior.
Thanks to their understated color and sculptural shape, these chairs easily combine with both vintage and contemporary interiors, with a clear nod to the 1970s.
