Beautiful set of two authentic Japanese ginger jars in the traditional Kutani style, dating from the Shōwa period.
The jars are richly hand-painted with colorful flowers, elegant figurative depictions, and refined gold decoration. Both jars have their original lids and stand on matching wooden feet.
One of the jars features a Japanese workshop stamp on the bottom, consistent with Kutani export porcelain from the second half of the 20th century.
A stylish set for a classic, Asian, or eclectic interior, and beloved by collectors of Japanese porcelain.
