Superb and very rare set of twelve Curule Savonarola model chairs published by Maison Jansen in the 60s. The set comprises 12 steel chairs with brass accents and a seat cushion upholstered in a pale pink velvet fabric by Nobilis, with a washed look and changing lustre. Iconic pieces from Maison Jansen, in the pure neoclassical style for which they are renowned. These chairs have a rare presence, and will decorate both traditional and contemporary interiors. They are both heavy and sturdy, yet elegant and decorative.
