Set of 💙MURANO MANDRUZZATO💙 Handmade Venetian Sommerso vases made in Murano in the 1950s/60s by renowned designer Flavio Poli.

This three-dimensional ink-blue vase with a honey-brown glow has an octagonal facet shape, which is essentially a variation of elongated triangles and diamonds. The top and bottom are cube-shaped with cut corners.

This elegant red-ruby honey-brown square block vase, also known as a cube vase, is encased in a clear outer layer. The warm, glowing color combination creates a captivating visual effect, making this vase a true statement piece.
💫 What is Sommerso?
Sommerso, which stands for immersed glass, is a technique in which several layers of glass in varying colors and thicknesses are layered on top of each other. The resulting pieces received great international recognition as superior examples of mid-century modern Murano glass, and Poli received the Compasso d'Oro at the Milan Triennale in 1954.
