The skeleton consists of a waxed mahogany with the typical acajou/brown color tone. A bold choice as an alternative to walnut or smoked oak. The upholstery is a warm gray/beige pigmented leather with a soft texture. The treatment of the leather makes it extremely easy to maintain. The inner padding consists of a thin but comfortable layer. You sink down slowly in this chair.
Created by Luigi Vaghi, this vintage chair embodies refined simplicity and the pinnacle of craftsmanship. Carved from tropical hardwood, the acajou waxed surface exudes a deep warmth that seems to whisper stories of distant places and contemporary aesthetics. The T-shaped back design that extends into the back legs like the antelope's antlers, follows the human contours in a curved banister.
Luigi Vaghi was born in Milan. After attending an artistic high school, he received his degree in architecture from the "Politecnico" University of Milan. His interest in stylistic research, forms, materials and production processes have always determined his approach to the world of design.
Throughout his career he has worked with designers, architects and manufacturing companies in Italy, allowing him to translate theory into practice. The designs usually consist of sustainable products and time has clearly proven that.
Light signs of use here and there on the wooden frame of the chairs, but nice vintage condition. The leather is immaculate.
