Created in 1989 by Sergio Dangelo, one of the leading figures of Italian Nuclear Art, Kiwi Landscape is a ceramic artist’s plate made for the “Piatto dell’Estate” initiative, promoted by the Lions Club and produced at the historic Mazzotti 1903 workshop in Albisola.
Each year, a different artist was invited to reinterpret Albisola’s ceramic tradition with an original work—an initiative that involved prominent figures from both the national and international art scenes.
Kiwi Landscape blends visual irony, symbolism, and a personal vision of the landscape, expressed through Dangelo’s distinctive, imaginative, and tactile language.
A work that embodies the perfect fusion of art, craftsmanship, and civic commitment.
