The ‘Selandia’ platter was designed in 1957 by Per Lütken for the Danish manufacturer Holmegaard.
An iconic artistic platter from the ‘Selandia’ collection, designed in 1957 by Danish glass master Per Lütken for the Holmegaard glassworks. It is one of his most recognisable works — an organic, asymmetrical form inspired by the movement of waves and wind, made of smoky-coloured glass with a characteristic optical reflection. Each piece was hand-formed, so no two bowls are identical. A symbol of elegance and lightness, it is a timeless example of 1950s Scandinavian design.
Condition: The platter is in its original condition and may show normal signs of use (minor scratches).
