Product description
Very impressive vintage design vase from West Germany, dating from the 1960s–70s. This sculptural ceramic vase is executed in a powerful, Brutalist style with a distinct architectural design. The front of the vase features a deeply inlaid geometric relief, while the back is finished in a rough and organic style – a beautiful contrast that emphasizes its handmade character. The vase is marked U 10/50 on the bottom.
The multi-colored glaze in warm earth tones (dark brown, black, beige, and cream) has a lava-like texture, characteristic of high-quality West German ceramics from this period. Due to its size and appearance, this piece is a real eye-catcher in your interior, whether with or without flowers.

In very good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the bottom (not visible when the vase is standing and purely cosmetic). Otherwise, no cracks or restorations; The enamel is beautifully intact with normal light signs of wear consistent with its age.
