Product description
A truly impressive vintage designer vase from West Germany, dating from the 1960s and 1970s. This sculptural ceramic vase is crafted in a powerful, brutalist style with a distinctly architectural design. The front of the vase features a deeply inlaid geometric relief, while the back has a rough, organic finish—a beautiful contrast that emphasizes its handmade character. The vase is marked U 10/50 on the underside.
The multicolored glaze in warm earth tones (dark brown, black, beige, and cream) has a lava-like texture, characteristic of high-quality West German ceramics from this period. Its size and appearance make this piece a real eye-catcher in your interior, whether with or without flowers.

In very good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the underside (not visible when the vase is upright and is purely cosmetic). Otherwise, there are no cracks or restorations. The glaze is beautifully intact with normal, light signs of wear consistent with age.
