Beautiful large vintage porcelain table lamp in art deco style. This impressive sculptural lamp is a real eye-catcher. The beautifully flowing lamp base is reminiscent of designs by Max Le Verrier. Louis Octave Maxime Le Verrier, better known as Max Le Verrier, also known by the pseudonym Artus, was a French sculptor. He was known as a pioneer within the Parisian Art Deco movement and created both decorative art objects, often made of bronze, and historical sculptures. In 1928, Max Le Verrier created his famous Clarté lamp from a living model, which depicted a naked woman on her toes with an illuminated globe in her outstretched hands, the most important work of art in his collection. The highly decorative vintage lamp that we offer shows a naked woman, made of white porcelain, carrying a glass ball with a marble motif. The lamp has an E14 fitting and is equipped with the original white cord with switch (lights up in the dark) and European two-pin plug. Dimensions: Total lamp height: 69 cm Width of total lamp: approx. 26 cm. Depth of total lamp: approx. 18 cm. Height of porcelain part: 53.5 cm. Glass ball diameter: approx. 14 cm. Foot width: 20 cm. Depth of base: 15 cm. The lamp is like new! In photo 5 you can see a small dent in the woman's neck, this is in the ceramic and was created during the making process of the lamp.
