Characterful SCHUITEMA SHAKER ARMCHAIR upholstered in WARM COGNAC-COLORED ANILINE LEATHER, with a solid wood frame and loose seat and back cushions. This is an armchair with presence: wide, deep, and low enough to function as a true CLUB ARMCHAIR, yet sleek enough in lines not to appear heavy or bulky. The combination of wood, leather, and the GRAPHIC TEXTILE PANELWORK ALL AROUND the sides and back gives it a calm yet distinctive signature.
What makes this model special is the tension between sobriety and richness. The main form is almost architectural: clear, cubist, sleek volumes, closed sides, a sturdy frame, and a broad front. Contrasting with this is the softness of the aniline leather, which has developed a beautiful, honest patina over time. The leather displays natural variations in sheen, subtle creasing, and signs of wear that do not detract from the furniture but rather contribute to its lived-in character.
