Original armchair by the Dutch furniture manufacturer Schuitema. This chair is executed in the characteristic Jugendstil/Art Nouveau style for which Schuitema is renowned worldwide. Schuitema (Decoforma line) Year of manufacture: 1980 (authentically stamped under the seat with number 980). Original upholstery in good condition. High-quality solid quarter-sawn oak. In very good vintage condition, structurally 100% sound. Details: Elegant spindle back, beautifully curved armrests, and artisanal wood joints. An ideal piece as a distinctive occasional chair or to complement an existing set. Comfortable to sit in! A timeless design icon that only increases in value.
