Handcrafted accent lamp made from a 1950s vase. The base is an original Scheurich ceramic vase in a vibrant lemon yellow – a fresh, sunny hue that makes a beautiful focal point even when unlit.
The lampshade was handcrafted in my Berlin workshop. It features a high-quality designer fabric from Canada with a striking botanical leaf motif in warm shades of violet, orange, and gold. As soon as the lamp is switched on, the delicate lines of the pattern begin to glow, creating an exceptionally atmospheric lighting effect.

Conversion to Lamp
The vintage vase was carefully converted into a lamp. No drilling was done. The mechanism is completely reversible, preserving the vase's collector's value. Stability is ensured by a sand weight inside the vase, and the socket is secured with a precisely fitting brass cap and a plug-in solution.
Technology – Wireless & Flexible
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. It provides up to 12 hours of light. The bulb can be purchased separately for approximately €12. The LED bulb is suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor use, is dimmable, and can be switched between different light colors using a remote control. Upon request, the lamp can also be supplied with a cable, which is then routed directly into the socket at the back.
Whether on a chest of drawers, a sideboard, or as a stylish bedside lamp – this upcycled lamp combines West German pottery with modern design and, as a handcrafted accent lamp, creates a striking focal point in any room. Each lamp is unique and lovingly handcrafted in my Berlin workshop.
