A solid pine center table attributed to Roland Wilhelmsson, a Swedish designer active in the 1960s and 70s, from the Ågesta series.
This piece perfectly illustrates the Brutalist Scandinavian style of the period, with its robust construction and woodwork that showcases solid pine with visible knots and pronounced grain. The overall aesthetic is both raw and warm, characteristic of Swedish furniture from this era.
Its unusual size, at 65.5 cm high, is intermediate between a coffee table and a dining table, typical of the "center tables" used in Scandinavian interiors for multiple purposes (reading, coffee, living room).
