Mid-Century Modern desk/workstation designed by Egon Ostergaard from Sweden for SMI Sveriges Möbelindustriförbund.
This 1950s/60s cabinet features a roll-top design that slides up smoothly. Behind it, you'll find three drawers and compartments with storage options. Under the flap is a pull-out worktop with a working lock; the top drawer can also be locked with the key. Under the desk top are three large, wide drawers spanning the full width for storing all sorts of things. The cabinet stands on four solid wood legs with a brass finish on the underside.
The original V&D (Vroom & Dreesman?) price tag is still attached to the back.
In vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use. Dimensions: Height 97 cm, Width 90 cm, and Depth 45 cm/68.5 cm.
