Scandinavian ceramic desk or bedside lamp, designed by Inger Persson for Swedish manufacturer Rörstrand in the 1960s.
The base is made of natural stoneware and glazed in a deep turquoise blue, with decorative striations. This contrast between raw earth and glossy glaze is characteristic of Inger Persson's work.
The lamp is signed on the reverse and retains its original electrical assembly. It is presented here with a white cylindrical shade (included).
