Product description
Iconic Saqqarah vase, designed by Nanae Umeda for Egizia as part of the ‘Handle With Care’ series by Sottsass Associati from 1995.
Crafted in blown glass with hand-applied screen-printed decoration in glossy enamel, cobalt blue, dark green, and 24-karat gold. The graphic pattern and pronounced color blocks give the vase a strong Memphis look, typical of Italian design from the 80s and 90s.
A rare and striking design object that looks excellent both with flowers and as a standalone piece.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. Two small, barely visible scratches are present (see photos). The gold-colored parts originally have a slightly mottled texture, consistent with the manual finish and production technique.
