Some designs are worth investing in. This sofa is a prime example.
This Saporiti Italia two-seater sofa from the 1970s was completely reupholstered in the early 2000s by a certified furniture maker, precisely because the original design had to be preserved. Reupholstering of this quality was a conscious and expensive choice at the time, comparable to purchasing a new sofa.
The sofa has a low seat height, deep seating, and loose seat and back cushions, which ensure a relaxed and comfortable seating position. The design is understated and timeless, without trend-sensitive details – precisely what distinguishes good Italian design.
The current fabric was carefully selected and based on the original, with a subtly expanded color palette that includes green and off-white, as well as a warm yellow accent.
The sofa has been in the family for approximately 50 years and is in used but well-maintained condition.
