Product description
This is a beautiful decanter made by Roger Guerin of Bouffioulx, Belgium. Guerin (1896-1954) was a highly respected Belgian ceramist of the Art Deco period. Inspired by techniques from the Middle Ages, he produced hard ceramics fired once at a high temperature. He produced very limited editions of series or unique pieces. This decanter was made in the early 20th century from sandstone. The vase is marked at the bottom including Guerin's signature.
