This set of three S64V cantilever chairs was designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by Thonet. This Bauhaus-era design is an absolute classic of design history, distinguished by its clean lines and harmonious combination of materials.
The chairs feature a frame made of chrome-plated tubular steel, which provides the characteristic springiness. The seat and backrest are upholstered in traditional Viennese rattan, framed in black lacquered wood. The armrests are also made of black lacquered wood, completing the elegant look.
The chairs are in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of age-appropriate wear. The rattan is intact and taut, the chrome plating shines, and the wooden surfaces are well-maintained. The chairs are fully functional and structurally sound.
