The "S" Chair was designed in 1991 by Tom Dixon for the Italian design brand Cappellini.
The chair is a furniture icon, with its curvy steel frame and white leather finish with funky lettering. You can guess the name of the chair: the design shows a beautiful S-shape that immediately catches the eye. As simple as it is genius. The chair is an eye-catcher anywhere in the house.
The S-Chair Tom Dixon - Chair is 102 cm high, 50 cm wide and 42 cm deep. The seat height is 42 cm. Thanks to its light weight of 11 kg, the chair is easy to move or pick up.
A black and white version is also available.
Tom Dixon specializes in lighting products and furniture design. The British designer became famous for important works such as the Mirror Ball floor lamp, the Copper Shade pendant lamp and the Beat pendant lamp. His creations hang and are in museums all over the world. Dixon was named to the British Order of Knights in 2001 for his services to British design.
