Antique bedside table in solid softwood, likely 19th century, crafted with simple, utilitarian techniques. This restored piece is sturdy and functional.
Features include carved handles, clean joinery, and boards with a raised relief on the inner surfaces.
The wood bears the marks of time: old repairs, former woodworm holes, stains (on the top and inside of the drawer), and intentional irregularities.
The piece has been thoroughly cleaned, sanded, and treated against insects, respecting its history. The back panel was missing and has been replaced.
The bedside table has been lightly stained and protected with Mauler wax oil.
The top has also been varnished with a suitable product from the same brand.
This piece retains a very authentic, rustic, and warm character, reminiscent of a country house, farmhouse, or mountain chalet.
Ideal for lovers of raw, antique, and genuine furniture.
