Large Art Deco pendant lamp made of white opaline glass, marked Rubli, Thabur, with a nickel fixture. The fixture does not originally belong to the glass shade and dates from a later period, but its design complements the shade beautifully. The rod is adjustable in length; the minimum length is 54 cm, the maximum length is 84 cm, and the diameter of the shade is 29 cm. The entire piece is in very good condition. A cutout for the cord has been made in the ceiling rose. The lamp will be carefully packaged and shipped insured. If you would prefer shipping arranged via Whoppah, please send me a message and I will update the advertisement. A Rubli Art Deco lamp is an iconic vintage design lamp from the 1930s and 40s, originally produced in the Netherlands by the Hague metalware factory Thabur under the direction of Rudolf Blik. These lamps are known for their distinctive cloudy and marbled glass shades.
