Royal typewriter in its original case, ideal for collectors, retro decor enthusiasts, or those passionate about old-fashioned writing.
It features a logo on the back that reads "Royal Typewriter [URL hidden for your security] New York," made in the United States of America. The Royal Typewriter Company, founded in 1904[1] by Thomas Fortunes Ryan and Edward B. Hess[2], is a former American manufacturer of typewriters.
This model is believed to be the Royal Quiet De Luxe, one of the brand's most iconic portable typewriters. It was produced from 1939 and widely distributed in the 1940s.
It is recognizable by its slightly curved front panel, its front Touch Control system, its compact and elegant design, and its renowned robust mechanics.
Furthermore, it features an AZERTY keyboard with round, metal-rimmed keys. This version was produced for Europe, making it particularly interesting for the French market.
This typewriter is in very good condition considering its age. It is fully functional (see photo) and comes with a portable carrying case secured in place.
