Product description
This round table is an elegant example of Italian design from the 1970s and bears the creative signature of Carlo Scarpa, an important architect and designer of the 20th century. It was produced by the renowned manufacturer Cattelan Italia, as confirmed by the clearly visible sticker on the underside of the table top.
The table is made entirely of light-colored Carrara marble, which not only gives it a noble appearance, but also a sculptural presence. The solid, conical column forms the central support for the generous, circular top, which has a particularly delicate appearance thanks to its slender design and the restrained, natural grain pattern of the marble. The connection between the base and table top is elegantly and fluidly resolved by a conical intermediate piece - a typical feature of Scarpa's design language, which likes to play with architectural transitions.
The proportions of the table are balanced, so that it functions both as a dining table for four to six people and as a striking solitaire in an open living environment.

On closer inspection, a small bump can be seen on the base, but this does not affect the stability and function.
